Service Description

In this two month session, students will learn to make a dress! T(w)eens will decide on one of the five patterns listed and will be guided through dressmaking from start to finish. Students will learn how to work with a sewing pattern, how to gather stitches, insert facings, and add details to more advanced projects. Students may sign up with or without a materials fee. If they choose to sign up with the materials fee, students will choose fabric from our shop that is suitable for dressmaking. If students register without the materials fee, we will send along the fabric requirements ahead of the first class. *Please note, dress fabrics are more expensive than typical fabrics used in our class—hence the higher materials fee. Students need to enter their chosen dress on the booking form so we can order their patterns ahead of time. The names of the dresses are on the photos in the class gallery.

Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
