Sashiko Coasters

Service Description

Learn the basics of Sashiko in this beginner friendly hand sewing class. In this two hour class, Katie (one of SewBo's Sashiko experts), will teach students the stunning art of Sashiko, a traditional Japanese mending technique. Students will use our Sashiko Coaster Kit and learn how to stitch with accuracy and precision—creating a hand-sewing treasure that is both useful and beautiful. The cost of the kit is included in the cost of the class and students will choose their preferred color with registration.

Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
