Have you been thinking about making a quilted garment, but don't know where to start? Let's make a quilted vest together! Using the Wildwood Jacket and Vest from Helen's Closet, students will make the ultimate quilted vest. This is a medium-weight vest that is perfect for transitional seasons. In this class students will learn how to: Make a simple garment that is a great starter block for jacket making. Use a walking foot Sew in even quilted sections Bind a quilted garment The Wildwood Vest Pattern is included in the cost of the class. Other materials are NOT included in the cost of the class. Students will need to below materials for class: · Fabric - light to mid-weight fabrics with no stretch; cotton, flannel, linen, and hemp are all good choices PRE WASH ALL FABRIC prior to coming to class · Batting (cotton, poly blend, bamboo, or wool... you choice) · Thread 2-4 spools of thread cotton if you want a scrunchy look and poly if you want a smooth finish · 5, 7 1/2" snaps (Optional) · 1/2" wide double fold bias tape based on garment measurements (see photos attached) Students receive 15% off class materials at our shop and our staff can help with fabric recommendations and suggestions.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancelation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 20 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
