Service Description
Make a modern quilted wall hanging, the Rhythms Quilt by Wellspring Designs. This class is taught by one of our modern quilters, Ariana Vasquez Lokey. This class is a great project for beginning quilters who are interested in a new challenge! Students in this class will learn to: Follow a quilt pattern Sew curved blocks Quilt a wall hanging Learn how to attach a quilt facing Learn how to attach hanging sleeves The Rhythms Quilt pattern is a modern, geometric design that creates an eye-catching quilt. The pattern may look complicated, but with the instructions, templates, and guidance provided, it will come together seamlessly. Prerequisites for this class are Quilting 101 and Quilting 201 (or the equivalent knowledge). The pattern is included in the cost of the class. Materials are not included. Students receive 15% off class materials when purchased in our retail shop. Specific fabric needs will be communicated to students ahead of the class. Note: This is a two-day workshop taught over two Sundays in June. Class 1 - June 7 10:00 am - 2:00 pm You will begin assembling the quilt block with guidance and support. Including tips on sewing with curves. Students will need to come to the class with their fabric cut out and labeled according to the cutting instructions. So we can spend the bulk of the time piecing. Students will finish piecing the wall hanging at home! Class 2 - June 28 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Students will quilt the wall hanging. Both machine and hand quilting will be demonstrated. Students will attach a facing to their wall hanging - quilt facings give a crisp finished edge without visible binding on the border. This is a great alternative to traditional binding.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancelation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 20 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
