Mending Basics

Service Description

Whether you have a torn pair of jeans, need a button put back on a coat, or have a pair of pants that need to be shortened, this class will teach you the basics of mending. Students will learn basic stitches, how to sew on buttons, and how to hemming a pair of pants by hand. This is a hand stitching class—sewing machines will not be used. Give your wardrobe new life with this sustainably driven, skills-focused class. *This class is a basic mending class and is not a tailoring class, so items that need to be adjusted for fit are best suited for a different class. All students receive 15% any purchases made the day of their class.

Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
