Service Description
In this two day workshop students will learn how to make a dress! Classes will meet on February 22 and March 1 from 11-4. The Matilda Dress from Megan Nielsen is a classic, tailored dress that comes in sizes 0-34. In this class students will learn to: Make a toile for the torso Install patch pockets Sew a yoke Construct a collar Install button holes Attach buttons Attach a waistband The pattern is included in the cost of the class. Students are required to set up a meeting with Tessa prior to class to fit their "toile". Instructions will be sent out ahead of class explaining how to make a toile. Students need to come to class with all fabric cut out and interfacing fused in order to maximize instruction time. There will also be "homework" sewing in between classes. Materials are not included in the cost of the class and students can purchase materials with a 15% discount at our shop.
Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp. If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 20 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
