Make a Quilt in a Day
Learn to quilt in this all day workshop!
Service Description
Join us for this all day workshop and make a basic lap quilt measuring 31.5” x 40.5”. In this class students will learn to: Sew with a 1/4 inch seam allowance Cut accurately for precision Back and baste a quilt Bind a quilt Coordinate fabrics and use "blenders" when quilting Materials list for this class: 2 5" Charm Packs 40.5" Square piece of 100% cotton, wool, or bamboo batting 1 ¼ yard of fabric for the backing ⅓ yard of fabric for the quilt binding or 4 3/4 yards of pre-made binding Coordinating 100% cotton thread Students should purchase all materials ahead of the class and can do so at our shop with a 15% discount. Prerequisites for this class are Sewing 101 and 201 or the equivalent knowledge thereof.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 14 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp.
