Make a Lap Quilt

Service Description

Learn to quilt with this basic patchwork quilt pattern taught by our resident quilting maven, Lisa! In this class, students make a 31.5” x 40.5” quilt while learning to: Sew with a 1/4 inch seam allowance Cut accurately for precision Back and baste a quilt Bind a quilt Coordinate fabrics and use "blenders" when quilting This class has two sessions and students should expect to do "homework" in between sessions to maximize instruction on new techniques during class time. Students should purchase all materials ahead of the class and can do so at our shop with a 15% discount. All materials should be brought to the first day of class. If students bring materials from home or that are purchased elsewhere, please adhere to the materials list provided. Materials list for this class: 8 fat quarters 34″ X 45″ piece of 100% cotton, wool, or bamboo batting 1 ¼ yard of fabric for the backing ⅓ yard of fabric for the quilt binding Coordinating 100% cotton thread

Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
