Isla/Jade Mash Up Dress and Top

Service Description
Make this beginner friendly dress (or top) in just four hours. The Isla dress is a summer favorite but get is cold-weather-ready with Jade/Isla Mash up! This flattering knit dress perfect for all types of weather. Can be layered on the shoulder seasons or worn on its own. The dress comes in nine sizes and and the size ranges can be found in the class picture gallery. Students will use light to medium weight knit fabrics such as jersey, interlock, and rib knits. In this class, students will learn to: Sew on sleeves Follow a sewing pattern Sew with knit fabrics (specifically jersey) Attach binding Gather fabrics with elastic thread Attach a skirt Work with hem tape Students will need to have all of their fabrics and pattern pieces cut out before class. The instructor will send out cutting instructions before class since we will be mashing up two patterns. The pattern is included in the cost of the class. Materials are not included. Students may purchase materials at our shop with a 15% discount and our team can recommend suitable fabrics. Prerequisites for this class are 101-301, Garment Sewing for Beginners Part I + II. It is helpful if students have had prior experience to sewing with knits but it is not necessary.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp. If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 20 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
