
Community Sew Along—Sewing for a Cause

Service Description
Join this fun social and charitable sew-a-long where we sew for a cause. All materials are provided for these classes. Students are welcome to bring scraps from home to use in class if they would like to donate materials. Specifics about each project will be sent out ahead of each gathering. If students are unable to attend and would like to contribute by sewing at home and dropping off items, we are happy to send instructions out ahead of time. We have two community Sew-a-longs scheduled in the coming months: May — The Pachamama Project (cloth period pads) July — There with Care (preemie smocks, pillow cases, stuffies) We focus out efforts on organizations that support women and children. If you know of any organizations that could use our support, email us at sewbo@sewboco.com. Prior sewing experience is necessary to join this class. Students must know how to sew basic projects and thread a sewing machine. Because space in the studio is limited, please register if you intend on joining.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 14 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp.
