Community Sew Along—Sewing for a Cause
Give back with your sewing skills.
Service Description
Join this fun social and charitable sew-a-long where we sew for a cause. All materials are provided for these classes. Students are welcome to bring scraps from home to use in class if they would like to donate materials. Prior sewing experience is necessary to join this class. Students must know how to sew basic projects and thread a sewing machine. Because space in the studio is limited, please register if you intend on joining. Our May sew-a-long is for the Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA). We will be sewing bunny lovies for EFAA to hand out of children in their programs. EFAA is an organization that is building a community where all of our neighbors can meet their basic needs and springboard themselves and their children out of poverty. For over 100 years, EFAA has served as Boulder County’s safety net, ensuring our community has access to food, housing, and other resources to move toward financial stability and resilience. Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancelation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 20 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
