Colorblocking Garments
Learn to color-block prints in this beginner friendly class! June 28
Service Description
Join us for this fun, colorful class and learn to play around with fabric placement and pattern! In this class, students will learn how to color-block garments. Students may choose to color block with just two fabrics or with multiple fabrics. Students will choose either Shirt No. 1 (100 Acts of Sewing) or the Victory Tank (Chalk & Notch). Both tops are beginner friendly and size inclusive (xs - 4x, 0-30), can be made in many different fabrics, and are great shirts for those new to sewing garments. This class will only cover how to color block when cutting out a garment. If students would like to continue the class with construction of the garment, they can sign up for the Summer Top Class that is happening at 3 PM on June 28 (directly after this class). Both classes with happen on Saturday June 28. The color-blocking class will be from 12:15-3 PM and the construction class will be from 3:30-6:30 PM. Students can choose their class options during registration. Students need to purchase the pattern and materials ahead of class and can do so at our shop with a 15% discount for class materials. Students need to come to class with their pattern cut out (but not their fabric cut out). If students have never sewing a garment and need help cutting out their pattern, they should sign up for our How to Read a Pattern class or Garment Sewing for Beginners Series. Prerequisites for this class are sewing 101-301 and How to Read a Pattern, Garment Sewing for Beginners, or the equivalent knowledge thereof.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
