Choose Your Own Chore Coat
Make and everyday jacket in this workshop - October 26
Service Description
Join Tessa Greene in this 4 hour workshop and learn to make a Chore Coat. In this class, students will be lead through the construction of an everyday jacket using one of the following sewing patterns: Den Jacket from Chalk & Notch (sizes 0-30), Paynter Jacket from Merchant & Mills (XS-XXL), or the Ilford Jacket from Friday Pattern Co. (XS-7X). Students will learn how to work with a collar, cuffs, multiple pockets, and inset sleeves. Materials are not included in the cost of the class. Students can purchase their pattern and supplies at our shop with a 15% discount. Students will need to pre-wash their fabric and have all of their pattern pieces and fabric cut out, as well as have any interfacing fused to pattern pieces. This is an intermediate class. Students should have made multiple garments to take this class. Prerequisites for this class are sewing 101-301, Garment Sewing Part I + II, and at least one other garment class, or the equivalent knowledge thereof. Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp. If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
