Bora Dress - Learn an Invisible Zipper

Service Description
Join this two day dress workshop and learn how to sew the Bora dress from Chalk + Notch. This dress has princess seams and an invisible zipper—great challenges to level up your sewing! This class is designed for advanced beginning and intermediate sewers. This two day workshop has a few weeks in between sessions to allow students to make some progress at home before coming to the last class. The first session is on October 17 and the Second is on November 14. The Bora is a woven dress with two views. View A features puff sleeves gathered at the shoulder and elbow with an optional back tie. View B is a sleeveless tank and has a wide scoop back. Both views have a V-neck fitted bodice with princess seaming, an empire waist seam, an A-line skirt, and are available in a long or short length. Both views finish with a center back invisible zipper, and the skirt pieces can be cut on the straight or bias grain. Students are welcome to choose either version for class. View A is great for sewers looking for more of a challenge. View B is better for advanced beginners or sewers newer to making garments. Students must come to class with their fabric pre-washed, all pattern pieces and fabric cut, stay stitching complete, and interfacing fused. The pattern is included in the cost of the class. All other materials can be purchased at our shop with a 15% discount and our staff is on hand to offer help and suggestions.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes/Courses Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or refunds can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Our classes and courses fill up quickly and are non-refundable within three days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Refunds and re-schedules result in high costs in time and unplanned scheduling changes. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. No transfers or refunds can be made within 7 days of the start date of a class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancelation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-20 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series. No transfers or refunds can be made within 20 days of the start date of any class. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Class credits expire one year after date of issue. School Day Off Cancellation Policy If your child cannot make it to a school day off camp, we can issue a transfer of registration up to 14 days before the start date of camp. If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date a cancellation fee of $30 will be applied and a credit of the remaining camp registration fee will be issued for a future camp. No refunds, credits, or transfers will be given within 7 days of the start date of a camp. Class credits expire one year after date of issue.
