Service Description

You know how to use a sewing machine... yay! Now it's time to learn more about using a sewing machine and how to become an independent, project based sewer. In this class students will complete a zippered pouch and will learn how to: · Use different feet of their sewing machine · How to install a zipper · How and why to use interfacing · How to cut their own fabric using a rotary cutter, ruler, and cutting mat Materials are not included in the cost of this class. Students will need to bring 2 Fat Quarters, a 9" Zipper, and 1/4 Yd of fusible fleece to this class. Students receive 15% of all fabric purchases at SewBo for this class and can purchase fabric ahead of time or on the day of the class. If students intend on purchasing fabric immediately before the class, please intend on arriving 10-15 minutes before the start time.

Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
