Polly gingham is a fuchsia pink and red gingham with a very subtly stripe reverse.
 
Designed in house at Merchant and Mills, these cotton jacquards are tactile and soft and could be used in the home as a blanket (either hem or bind your edges) or for quilted jackets or sweatshirts.
 
There is no batting in the middle of this cloth, the inside is made up of a series of thicker yarns which gives it the quilted feel.
If possible we would advise overlocking your raw edges before sewing to prevent fraying.
