This after school series is targeted towards tweens and teens. In our September class, students will make the Atlas Top. This modern top is the perfect addition to a budding me-made wardrobe and can be layered in cooler months and stands alone beautifully in warmer months. In this class, students will learn how to: · Work with apparel weight fabrics · Sew darts · Work with an apparel sewing pattern · Contstruct a pdf sewing pattern · Finish apparels projects with binding Photos of the top can be found in the class gallery. *** Materials are not included in the cost of the class. Students will need to purchase the below materials before the first day of class. If students choose to purchase supplies at SewBo, they receive 15% off of class purchases. If students purchase materials elsewhere, please adhere strictly to the materials list. The pattern for the top is included in the cost of the class. Fabric requirements: Sizes 0 - 14 1.25 yds Sizes 16 - 26 1.75 yds Notions needed: Fabric, matching thread, interfacing (optional). Suggested fabrics: Light weight wovens and stretch wovens like quilting cotton, twill, linen, chambray, gingham, poplin etc. Our staff at SewBo understands the materials list and can help with fabric choices. We have all the materials needed to construct the backpack. Class Cancellation Policy Class registration can be refunded within 7 days of the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class. No transfers can be made within 3 days of the start date of any class. We do not offer make-up sessions for missed classes.
