In this two-session class students will learn to: Grade a pattern to fit their body measurements Set a waistband to prevent gaping Add pockets to pants (inset and outside) Build a fly or side button closure Students will create their first pair of pants with a muslin (this is a practice pair of pants using an inexpensive fabric). Once the muslin is complete, students will be equipped to build their final pair out of their desired fabric. Students will also need to complete some "homework" in between class sessions. Students will need to purchase materials ahead of the class and can choose between the Merchant & Mills' Quinn Pants or the True Bias' Lander Pants. Both muslin fabric and the patterns are available at the shop for purchase at 15% off. Prerequisites are sewing 101, 201, and How to Read a Pattern or the equivalent knowledge thereof.
