Service Description
In this 4 hour workshop, students will make Sew Liberated's Studio Tunic. Students will be guided step by step through garment construction resulting in a finished product (that will quickly become a me-made favorite!) Students must have prior garment sewing experience and will need to come to the class with their fabric and interfacing cut out and ready to sew. **Important note: do not fuse interfacing to fabric pieces before the class. Materials are not included in the cost of the class and students will need to purchase their fabric and pattern and pre-wash their fabric ahead of class. Students may purchase materials from our shop at a 15% discount. If students choose to purchase elsewhere, please adhere strictly to the fabric requirements. Students will need: · Studio Tunic Pattern · A mid-weight woven fabric. Some wonderful choices are mid-weight linen and chambray, cotton twill, Essex linen or light canvas, in solids or prints. Specific size fabric requirements can be found in the photo gallery below. The drape or hand of the fabric will significantly impact the look and fit of the final garment – softer fabrics like washed linen will fall gently for a relaxed, garden vibe, and more sturdy fabrics like light canvas or twill will enhance the oversized, utility look and the A-line silhouette. (If you choose a heavier weight fabric, you might want to use a lighter fabric for your facings to reduce bulk.) · 0.75 yd (0.7 m) of lightweight fusible interfacing. · Matching thread Prerequisites for this class are Sewing 101-301 and Garment Sewing for beginners Part I + II or the equivalent knowledge thereof.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
