Nikko Dress and Top

Service Description

Led by our Nikko-loving-hack-master Kerry, this class will teach students how to work with knit fabrics while making the perfect layering piece for cold weather. Choose between a fitted mock neck shirt or dress, with long sleeves or sleeveless. The Nikko pattern by True Bias is the perfect versatile cool weather staple, and a great intro to sewing with knit fabrics! It is also a super easy pattern to hack and create different versions on your own after you learn to make it in its original form. The pattern is included in the cost of the class. Materials are not included in the cost of the class an students will need to purchase materials ahead of class and can do at our shop with the 15% class discount. Students will need to come to class with their fabric pre-washed and all of their pieces cut out. Prerequisites for this class are sewing 101, 201, 301 and Garment Sewing for Beginners Part 1 and 2 or the equivalent knowledge thereof.

Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
