Flower Pounding Workshop

Service Description

Design your own fabric with natures most beautiful specimens—flowers! Students will be lead by Lauren in the technique of flower pounding. Using a variety of flowers from our local area, students will learn how to transfer a flower to fabric, resulting in a stunning array of color, individually expressed and articulated by each attendee. Students will transfer flowers to a yard of fabric to be used in a future project of their choice. This class includes a materials fee of $30 for the fabric, flowers, and pre-treatment of the fabric ahead the class. While we will be providing local flowers for the class, students are welcome to bring flowers of their choice from home, if they have a specific color, or type in mind. *ear plugs will be provided for the class
