Choose Your Own Shorts Class
Make this warm weather staple! June 1
Service Description
Join Tessa Green for this fun, beginner friendly class and make one of three shorts options. In this class, students may choose between the Chanterelle Shorts from Sew Liberated, the Esther Shorts from Tessutti Patterns, or the Dani Short from True Bias. The Chanterelle and Dani shorts are great for beginning sewers and students wanting a challenge can choose the Dani or Esther shorts with a zipper closure. In this class students will learn a variety of skills depending on which garments they choose, like how to: Gather stitches using various methods Install a fly or faux fly Install a zipper or invisible zipper (Esther Shorts) Install a waistband Hem Work with woven fabrics Sew pockets Students need to pre-wash their fabrics and have all the pattern pieces and fabric cut out and interfacing fused before coming to class. Prerequisites for this class are Sewing 101-301 and Garment Sewing for Beginners Part 1 & 2 or the equivalent knowledge thereof. Materials are not included in the cost of this class. Students will need to purchase their pattern and materials ahead of class and can do so with a 15% discount at our shop.

Cancellation Policy
Adult Classes Class registration can be refunded 14 days before the start date of any class. If cancellation is requested within 14-3 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different class or a credit can be given for a future class. No transfers or can be made within 3 days of the start date of a class. Please not that we allow for one rescheduling of class within the terms of the cancelation policy. This is out of respect for our teaching team and due to our small teacher to student ratio. Check out our FAQ's for more detail on our cancellation policy. Kids Monthly Classes Class registration can be refunded outside of 14 days of the start date of any class (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 14-7 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different series or a credit will be given to your account. Summer Camps All summer camp cancelation and rescheduling requests must be made by emailing sewbo@sewboco.com. Summer Camp registration can be refunded 30 days before the start date of any camp (less a 10% cancellation fee). If cancellation is requested within 30-14 days of the start date, a transfer of registration may be made to a different camp or a credit can be given for use at a future camp or series.
